信濃の国 原始感覚美術祭2015－水まつりうみ公募
まだ雪深い大町木崎湖畔ですが、今年も公募を開始しました。
実物の作品を送ってもよいという公募なので、
原始感覚に共感する表現者の驚嘆するような提案をお待ちしています。
また今年から、「旅する原始感覚」と題し、原始感覚に共感するレジデンスやアートプロジェクトを行う団体との交流企画を募集します。
縄文時代に行われていたヒスイや黒曜石、縄文土器の交流のように、近代まで息づいていた旅芸人の一座のように、この島に太古からつづく旅するネットワークをつくりだしていきましょう。

今年は、祭とは何かという原点に立ち返り、参加者が“祭”を生み出す事を テーマに制作を行います。毎年行われる祭の祖形となる企画を中心に、地域と 関わり、場と事を生み出す祭が幾つも誕生することで、木崎湖という地自体が
語り出す、伝統となりうるような祭を誕生させる水の「祭生み」を行います。
「場」としての「もの」を創造したい。あるいは誰かの作った「場」において、「こと」を起こしたい。「もの」と「こと」の両方を作りたいなど、様々な立場からの参加が可能です。一般的な意味での祭だけでなく、各々の表現者にとっての“祭”を表現することによって、祭の可能性を拡張します。
自我や個を超えて、地に開いていくことで、人と人を結び、人と土地を結ぶような表現を生みだし、出逢いという一瞬に立ち上がる場こそが祭であるような、新しい人と地の在り方を創造するような表現者をお待ちしています。
■募集内容
ジャンルは問いません。原始感覚を宿し、原始感覚を呼び覚ますもの
１、滞在制作 5～20万円の制作費（渡航費、交通費、滞在費含む。宿泊場所あり）
常設作品の制作か、1点以上の作品の寄贈が条件になります。
1カ月ほどの滞在が望ましい。プランや渡航・交通費によって制作費を決定します。
２、展示参加 搬入搬出経費の補助
販売可能
３、イベント参加
参加費をとって自主回収できるプランが望ましい。

４、若手枠
とにかく発表の機会があればいい。ご飯が食べられればよいという心意気参加
５、交流企画・旅する原始感覚

重点募集

■西丸震哉記念助成
故西丸震哉氏の原始感覚に基づいた表現者に対する助成として西丸真美氏 （西丸震哉記念館名誉館長）協力の元、参加作家枠を設けます。 公募参加者の中から対象者が選ばれ、助成内容は募集内容に準じます。 木崎湖畔に滞在し、制作を行います。（昨年はティモシー・エドモンズ氏が対象）

Ａ４ファイル１冊にまとめるか自由な方法で応募ください。
※実物の作品を送ってもかまいません。
※手紙を送るようにあなたの原始感覚を応募ください。
※応募されたものの返却はできません。

The beginning of creation by mankind such as Lascaux wall paintings or straw rope-patterned ancient Japanese pottery contains fandamental sense of Art. The mission of Primitive sense art festival is to call up the fandamental sense of Art in this moment at SHINANO, where JYOMON (Ancient Japanese) people had been lived. For expressing your original primitive sense, please visit SHINANO, Kizaki lake, where the beautiful lands of water welcome you for the bud of new creation.
The birth of water ritual
This year's theme of the primitive sense art festival is the creation of "MATSURI" Matsuri means festival in Japanese. it also means ritual, ceremony, or jubilation.The Artist will be expected to work closely with the nature of Kizaki Lake and the local community to create own Matsuri for the dedication to the land. We are calling the artists who; create the objects as place; create the happening at the place somebody created; create the object which create the happening. We think that assembling each Artsit's Matsuri expression, it will expand the possibility of MATSURI . We want you to exceed own ego and open up your soul to the earth.
An artist can create the new relationship between nature and human beings which would be like the moment of an encounter.
Entry requirements
If your work call up the primitive sense, any form of Art would be applicable.
(Sculpture, Lands art, Architecture, instllation or cooking food, etc.)
Residence piriod
From 1st of June to 1st of August (depends on your project)
Awards
100000－200000Yen for making Artwork including the cost of the materials
transportation expenses, and living expenses. The accommodation will be provided.
*Artist in Residence is on the condition that to create a permanent artwork at the Primitive Sense Art Festival or to donate more than an artwork.
*The artist is requested to stay from a month as the residence Artist
for creating own artwork.
AIR Interchange Program
"Traveling the primitive sense"
We would like to corporate with the other AIR organization which sympathize with our primitive sense art festival. We will accept the Artist from your AIR program and the Artist from primitive sense art festival will visit your AIR program for interchange.
The budget will be as same as our subscription above. Please contact us to discuss for the detail.
